Refund policy
Simple rule: if a dataset materially differs from its listing, you get your money back — within 14 days of purchase.
What qualifies
- Fewer rows/columns than listed, missing fields the schema promised, stale data sold as current, or content substantively different from the sample.
- Not covered: "the data didn't help my project" — samples, schemas and scorecards exist so you can evaluate before buying.
How it works
- Open My Data → Request refund within 14 days, describing what differs.
- The provider has 5 days to respond (refund or contest).
- If they refuse or don't respond, Moyako adjudicates — and holds standing authorisation to issue qualifying refunds from the provider's Stripe account, including our own fee.
The fine print, honestly
- This policy is a provider obligation that Moyako administers — providers agree to it as a condition of listing.
- Refunded orders lose dataset access automatically.
- Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and simply end at the period end; refunds apply to the current period only where the material-difference rule is met.
- Business purchases: statutory consumer cooling-off does not apply; before download you expressly consent to immediate delivery.
